♣ Congratulations to Team Bustout member Dan Witcher for making another sick run in a major live event! On Sunday, March 14th, Dan was able to navigate a field of 174 players in the 5k WSOP circuit event at Ceasars in Atlantic City, NJ where he found himself at the final table ultimately finishing 3rd and taking home 81k for his efforts. |

♦ Bustout was proud to be one of the big name sponsors of the very first Dave and Mahoney Morning Show NLH Tourney at the Beautiful Venetian Poker room this past Wed, March 10th. It was a tremendous success and everyone seemed super jazzed about all the Bustout apparel and accessories we gave away. Congrats to all the winners! 1st place and $3089.00 went to Daniel Carroll. 2nd place and $1923.00 went to Thomas Holakovsky. 3rd place and $1168.00 went to Bryan Griggs. All in all, 18 people made the cash in the $100.00 buy-in event. We look forward to the next one coming up May 19th where we will have some Team Bustout members with bounty's on their heads! ♣ On Friday, March 5th 2010, we were invited to sponsor, and take part in, a once a year crazy weekend affectionately refered to by it's participants as "Mastodon Weekend." (You really should Google it.) This wild weekend of, what some might call "degenerate behavior," was held in beautiful Greenville, SC this year and was attended by an eclectic group of bloggers and writers who shared one main addiction, POKER! Friday night was the big NLH tourney with about 40 entrants. Well of course we were more than happy to take part by giving away some of our Bustout gear, adding to the prize pool, as well as picking up the tab for dinner @ Azia (One of the premiere steak and sushi restaurants in Greenville.) Everyone had a blast and our Bustout gear was greeted with overwhelming enthusiasm! Definitely looking forward to next year! |
