Jeff Gross

Soccer is known around the world as “the beautiful game” and to us grinders that’s how we see the game of poker. Say hello to "Kidwhowon" Jeff Gross, a rising star that has excelled both on the felt and on the pitch.  A member of the University of South Carolina’s soccer team, Jeff has made the transition to a full-time poker player with more ease than Ronaldinho breaking down a line of defenders.  Having picked up the game during high school while at a camp with this soccer team, he quickly honed his game and found it was the perfect way for a student-athlete to earn a buck.  With career live and online earnings of $1,100,000 with over $500k live as well as over $500k online, the Michigan native has already made his presence known at the World Series of Poker by final tabling an event in 2010 for a payday of over $109,000.  After a win in a preliminary event at the 2011 PCA he showed no signs of slowing down when he reached his second WSOP final table in as many years taking second place in the 2011 $5000 NL Shootout event #24 pocketing $269,742 for his efforts. Having spent years as a member of top soccer teams it comes as no surprise that Jeff is now a member of one of the elite teams in poker.
